The following formats can be read by TurboCAD, either for import, export, or both. Some formats have a Setup in which you can set certain parameters for conversion. If you do not specify conversion parameters, the defaults will be used. (If no Setup is indicated, the conversion requires no additional input.)

PNG: Raster graphic format (export only). 

KML: (Import) Is a file format used to display geographic data in an Earth browser such as Google Earth. KML uses a tag-based structure with nested elements and attributes and is based on the XML standard.

KMZ: (Import is a file extension for a placemark file used by Google Earth. KMZ stands for Keyhole Markup language Zipped. It is a compressed version of a KML (Keyhole Markup Language) file. Keyhole was the founding company of the Earth Viewer software that Google Earth was built upon.

Note

DWG and DXF file formats do not support unit types, only a designation as Imperial or Metric. All Imperial units are converted to inches in DWG, all Metric units to mm.

Import to: Choose whether the imported file will open in Model Space or Paper Space.

PostScript Level: Level 2 is a more sophisticated version of PostScript. It provides color extensions, support for fonts with many characters, filters (for compression, etc.) and improved image handling (inclusion of JPEG files, etc).
