Editing Autoshapes

Since the autoshape tool creates standard shapes, rectangle etc., those shapes are edited by their type. However the Autoshape tool also creates three additional types: Polyline, Curve, Star (5 pointed).

Autoshapes (line,  polyline, curve, ellipse, circle, rectangle, parallelogram, trapezoid, star,  autocloud, right-angled, equilateral and isosceles triangles)
Ellipse

If ellipse' radiuses are nearly equal, then it is drawn a circle

Line

Polyline

If end points are edited exactly  located nearby, the polyline is closed.

If the angle between the nearest line segments can be approximated to 90 degrees, right angle is made. The angles are approximated, when polygon points are moved.

Closed polyline with 3 points - triangle - can be right-angled, equilateral and isosceles.

Closed polyline with 4 points can be recognized as rectangle, square, parallelogram, trapezoid.

If end point of parallel side in a quadrangle is moved along parallel lines, the property of parallelism is being kept.

Right angles in quadrangle are adjusted as well.

Another form of polyline - star. At the input regular star is automatically generated, later it can be made irregular. Star can be edited by moving end points or inner/outer radius points.

Curved line is approximated by spline, it can be closed and unclosed

Autocloud is created when  closed curved line can be approximated with a cloud markup
