Hole Tool using pattern of Points
1 – Cube and Point object
2 – Start Radial Pattern tool
3 – Click Point as source object, refine pattern path on the top face of cube. Pattern of points will be created.
4 – Start Hole Tool
5 – Select plane face, select pattern of points, PartTree with hole operation will be created
6 – Select pattern object in the drawing, and change count of elements, for example. The count of holes in Part Tree will be changed accordingly to copies of elements of Pattern Of Points
Simple Extrude on Pattern of 2D Entities
1 – Draw Polyline
2 – Create Array pattern of Polylines (Draw->3D Object->Pattern->Array Pattern)
3 – Start Simple Extrude tool, Use Compound Profile option will be turned ON. Select Pattern as profile for Simple Extrude operation. The result is Simple Extrude object:
4 – Select Pattern in the drawing and change Rows value, for example. Simple Extrude will be changed accordingly to pattern properties:
5 – Simple Extrude can be added to something using Boolean Add. Short Part Tree for such a complex object:
Patterns could be done for Block References objects etc.
New edit tools for Pattern objects
01 – Elliptical pattern
Change count of rings, then move arrow for change Z-Offset and other elements of edit tool to change different properties
02 – Pattern On Curve Edit Tool. Change Levels property in Selection Info and then move Arrow to set Z-Offset property between levels.
The same for edit other Pattern Objects
