UV maps require using LightWorks materials. Use the Render Manager to create a new category; we suggest that you use “UV” as a name.

  1. Create a new material.
  2. Select the Pattern section of the material properties.
  3. Set the Shader to Wrapped Image.
  4. Specify the location of the file you will be using as your image.
  5. Set the Softness to 0. This will prevent fuzziness in your image.
  6. Select the Wrapping section of the material properties.
  7. Set the Shader to UV.
  8. Click OK to close the LightWorks EditorRender manager.
  9. Select the 3D object and assign the new material you created.
