Breaks are used to reduce the lengths of objects which will not fit into the drawing.

 

Determine the area to cut:

 

Define the gap distance:

The result is a section with a Break.

 


 

NOTE: you can drag the break and the section independently. Make sure to move both simultaneously if you wish to retain the original association.


 

Break Line properties can be changed in Selection Info.

 

Some examples of different settings:

 

Each drafting palette object can have only one break line.
