Render Modes

3D drawings can utilize a variety of render modes. 2D drawings are always in wireframe.

Image AddedWireframe

Displays the drawing in a wireframe view. 

Image AddedHidden Line

Hides lines that are behind visible objects.

Image AddedX-Ray

Partially shows lines and surfaces that exist behind other objects. 

Image AddedShaded

Shades all visible surfaces

Image AddedShaded with Lines

Shades all visible surfaces and displays visible lines.

Settings

These settings customize the different rendering modes.

Grayscale

Removes color from all lines and surfaces.

Edge Factor

Adjusts grayscale from black to white.

X-Ray Factor

Adjusts X-Ray back lines and surfaces from black to white.

Default Lights

If drawing file contains lights, default lights will override them.

Adjusts Lighting

Force 2-Sided

Forces surfaces with incorrect normals to have two sides.

Change the background color by tapping the different colored pages near the bottom of the Visual Styles menu.
